Hi,

My name is Pastor Martin Ssempa. I am the pastor of Makerere Community Church in Kampala. My desire is to speak to you, my brothers, pastors, friends and those earnestly desiring the completion and perfection of the church in our day.

In a church that I recently visited an announcement was made about a prayer meeting that was going to take place on 777, July the 7^th of 2007. Something in my spirit grabbed me and said, “WHAT!” I have always known that seven (7) was God’s number and 666, the devil’s according to the book of Revelations.

I began to search the Scripture and seek God’s face concerning this. This truth began to resonate with my spirit. God spoke to the church about the year 2007 being a year of completion, perfection, and a year within which He was going to release blessings upon us as we earnestly sought the Lord’s face in the last months of 2006.

Now preachers often exclaim, “This is a blessing time!” or “This is the year of Jubilee!” Yet there is a way in which seven (7) has to be special. There are special moments and seasons in history. I’d like to speak to you concerning a few of them.

A few years ago in Uganda, we had what the weather experts called the El Niño season. This is a season with unprecedented amounts of rain. Rivers flood, bridges wash away and farmers rejoice as rain is released on the earth. Who determines when El Niño comes? Only the Lord in His sovereign grace.

Another example of a prophetic way in which God shows His wisdom in the heavenlies is Psalm 19. He uses the moon to perfectly block off the picture of the sun, a total eclipse of the sun. During that time people gather, get their negatives and x-rays as they look at the sun to see the perfect alignment of the planets with the sun and the moon.

The 7^th year since the millennium (2007) being perfectly aligned with the 7^th month (July), and the 7^th day of that month happening on the 7^th day of the week (Saturday in God’s calendar) is just an amazing thing. It can not pass without us recognizing a prophetic message on that day.

Last year I was in San Diego on June 6, 2006. Satanic concerts were held as many witches, sorcerers celebrated the number 666. Do not the people of |God have that much more reason to celebrate? I just feel in my spirit that we must recognize the season we are living in. What am I saying? I’m sensing the fulfillment of the prophetic words of Psalms 138 says, ‘the Lord will perfect that, which concerns me’.

In Genesis 2:2, we are told that on the seventh (7) day, God completed creation. He blessed (He saw that what He had done what was good). He blessed the seventh (7^th) day and He hallowed it. There’s something about seven (7) which has to do with completion, perfection and blessing. We are lucky to live in the seventh (7^th) year, to be alive in the 21^st century which is three sevens on the seventh (7^th) year.

Please do not mistake what I am saying, this is not about one day, this is a release for a season of blessing. As we were seeking God, the church felt like there is going to be a season of unprecedented blessings. Another word that God is speaking to us is that this season of blessing, will be followed by a season of famine. I feel in my spirit and as I look at God’s word, that we are going to enjoy a period of blessing which will be followed by a period of difficulty.

As God spoke to Pharaoh in a dream in which he saw seven (7) fat cows followed by seven (7) lean cows which swallowed up the fat ones. You can see that a period of seven (7) years of blessing was followed by seven (7) years of difficulty. Joseph, a wise servant of God and an interpreter of dreams, said to Pharaoh that he must tap into the season of blessing and store it. If we follow this example when the time of difficulty comes, we will be prepared for the difficult days ahead.

This is not a call for extravagance. This is a time to tap God’s extravagant blessings and save them for the in the difficult years ahead. We will be used of God to feed nations during the coming difficult days as Egypt did when they heeded the Lord’s wisdom.

Let’s go back to 777. I believe that we must blow a trumpet to herald the coming season. The book of Joel talks about blowing the trumpet, but there must be preparation first. When God promised a messiah to come, He burdened people in their spirit to go into the temple to spend many years calling on Him to fulfill His promise.

There’s a way in which the number 7 which goes with the number 40. Moses spent 40 years in the desert before he was called to near the mountain. After seven days on the mountain, the Lord called him from the cloud and said Moses come up.

There’s something about seven (7) and 40. As we were thinking about 777, we began fasting and praying for 40 days and I realized that I am not alone. Others have heard God’s call and are joining in. The Spirit of God is speaking to a brother named Lou Engel who is calling Americans to the same vision. I begin to get goose pumps as I write this.

God has been speaking to many others about calling a fast of 40 days preceding the day of 777. Anna was a widow and Simeon, her brother. Simeon would spend his time in the temple calling on God for the promised Messiah. They led a prayer group that laid hold of heaven asked God to complete and perfect God’s promise for the coming Messiah. God is stirring up a spirit in our generation saying that we must lay a hold of heaven and remind Him to complete the promises of the church in Uganda, in East Africa, in Africa, and in the world.

The church stands devastated right now. The walls of the city are broken, false prophets rule the day, sexual immorality characterizes us, newspapers write about the numbers of illegitimate pregnancies in the church, people are falling down but very few are rising up with a lifestyle of holiness. No longer is the church pursuing the presence of God, but we are merely entertaining ourselves. The Lord is speaking that we should lay aside these things and deny ourselves.

My challenge to you is this: search the Word and let the Holy Spirit speak to you. If the Spirit confirms in your heart, you cannot sleep through 777. Respond to this call! Churches can unify in the east, north, west or south to begin to pray and fast. Join us in fasting when you hear this message. Participate in this blessing for it will not come again!

Consecrate yourself in preparation for God to move. For 40 days, the church has decided to fast everyday 12 hours. Then the seven (7) days preceding 777, we will fast 24 hours a day to prepare our hearts so it will not take us unaware.

We have opportunity to decisively impact an entire generation! A generation is made up of 40 years. In 1967 in the USA, a new generation came up. A rebellious one that decided it did not want to follow God’s commands. It gave up any traditional values of Christianity. They are called the flower children or the Woodstock generation. Sexual ‘freedom,’ drug abuse, breaking down of any traditional norms was the characteristic of the day. As a result of that, America has broken down.

Our society is collapsing the church with it, unfortunately. What happened in America is spreading across the world because of America’s pervasive influence in the rest of the world. Hollywood is the most powerful tool of evangelism or discipling people according to the Hollywood way.

We have to recognize that that generation of 40 years is now coming to it’s end. We must declare a new generation. The generation of 1967 ends in the year 2007. I’m not sure that this is the end time generation, but cannot be passed over.

In Kampala, on Friday night of 6^th of July, we will gather at Makerere sports ground. Pastors and worshippers from all over the world, unite! Bring the trumpet, guitar, flag, and call on God Friday night as we bring in the day of 777.

On Saturday, from 7 o’clock in the morning 7am until 7 o’clock in the evening, we are going to have a marathon prophetic worship time. This is a time to lay a hold of heaven as in the days of David lifting up the tabernacle of the Lord that the Shekinah would come down.

God must complete the things that are happening. Jesus says that his followers will do greater works than he. We want to miracles, signs, wonders and the dead raised to life. We want to the Shekinah presence, to see the cloud come down that people may stop the service because of the cloud. When Solomon completed the temple, the priests could not minister because the cloud and heaviness of God’s presence, the cabod. We believe God for that. And when heaven touches us, we will change earth!

Our country must change. Injustice must be taken away, economic empowerment frozen, wars in northern Uganda must be brought to an end. We want to speak a release of the gifts of the Spirit. The evangelists, the apostles, the teachers, the pastors, and the prophets of God must be released from their captivity. The bride of Christ must be made ready for His return as this is the desire and crave of my heart. I believe that the day 777 is a major milestone in the prophetic fulfillment of the things God is speaking.

Do it for yourself, begin from Genesis 1 to Revelations and you will begin to see seven (7) in all sorts of places. When Jacob had worked seven (7) years, he completed the time needed to get his bride Rachel. Seven (7) is a number of the lamp stand that God asked His people to make. Even when you move to the book of Revelations you see the seven (7) churches, and in chapter 10, the seven (7) thunders. There’s a secret in those seven thunders. The apostle hears the sound and the voice of the seven (7) thunders and he was told don’t write what the seven (7) thunders have spoken. It is a secret to be revealed in it’s day.

God is unpacking this mystery right now. Do not miss it or sleep through it! On New Year’s Day Josiah and Mackay, my sons, wanted to be awake for the fireworks, but they fell asleep! They were not ready when the explosions took place. When we told them the next day about the fireworks, they said ‘No, you’re lying. I don’t believe you.’

You can sleep through God’s prophetic moment and say ‘No, you’re lying.’ You know Jesus talks of the wise and foolish virgins. The foolish virgins did not know the time that the bride groom was going to come. And Jesus says to whoever is listening, ‘Be ready!’

Christ also speaks of the prophetic time in which no man knows the day or the hour, but He says some things that are ripening you will be able to see. When you see the grapes ripening, the eastern skies, and some symbols you begin to get a sense.

I get goose pumps when I think of 7 falling on the year 2007, falling in the month of July 7^th falling on the 7^th of July, on the 7^th day. There is something about that one that makes me excited. If you are a pastor, invite your congregation or perhaps preach a message. Begin to compile a list of the things that God has spoken to you for which you are believing Him. Write this down for He says, ‘for I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, to give you a hope and a future’. Perhaps Psalms 138:8, ‘the Lord will perfect that which concerns me’, will coincide with the perfection that God is doing. Pray about this! May God speak to you and if you are in agreement, I desire to hear from you. Confirm with me, write to me, speak to me, call me up or simply join us at Makerere University. Maybe your choir can come, maybe you can be part of the speakers, maybe you can be part of the prophetic artists who can worship through prophetic art. We want the number sevens (7s).

I’d like to conclude with a symbol in heaven, when at the end of the flood, God speaks to Noah. He says, I’m gonna give a prophetic symbol of my peace on earth because never will I destroy the earth with drowning and He says the rainbow! How many colors are the in the rainbow? SEVEN. We are living in the moments that that were prophesied about! Please join the Body of Christ in this prophetic moment. May God Bless You
